The David Austin Rose Garden at Montfort Castle.
The famous English rose tree and its world-famous roses will have no secrets for you. Come discover their powerful fragrance varying from one flower to another: classic old rose, fruity, musky, tea or myrrh, some of these scents sometimes mixed. Built by a handful of volunteers and inspired by 16th-century gardens, its 600 m² rose trees showcase the castle’s old stones. Open to the public for the first year, it is maintained by these same volunteers. You will appreciate the charm of this unique place on the edge of the marshes and unique in the center of Manche.
