Françoise Baron

The Lavoir de la Madeleine, dating from the 19th century, remains one of the last witnesses of the domestic and communal washhouses that bordered the rivers of the Andelys. It is fed by a spring or a resurgence of the Peace Creek that runs along the Rue des Capucins. We invite you to discover this newly restored place in the company of local guides who will tell you its history and the importance of water in the city of Andelys. We will welcome you on Sunday, September 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a glass of friendship.”
