Projection: "Dancing with animals: the Great Egards"
Chorège CDCN invites you to discover the documentary films of dancers Marine Chesnais and Céline Larrère. A choreographic approach to the relationship sensitive to whales, bees, cows and snails, in the open sea and on farms, where the encounter with the living and animal bodies is crossed by dance.
Living on the threshold Marine Chesnais, choreographer and dancer of contemporary dance, goes to meet the humpback whales of Reunion Island. From these interactions in the great blue spring improvisations danced in apnea, which were the soil of his last show. This film, shot in apnea, is a choreographic and hypnotic journey that takes us under water, suspended breath, on the traces of this original approach.
IVRAIES IVRAIES is a series of short films, consisting of seven portraits-encounters. These films are made in the wake of GRAINS, a choreographic creation project initiated in 2020-21 aimed at establishing relationships between agricultural practices and choreographic practices. GRAINS gives rise to a series of performances performed in situ by farmers. Each of the small films of the IVRAIES project aims to reveal the ecologies of the sensitive at work in these incongruous and intimate encounters between people, landscapes, practices, uses and imaginaries.
