After a history of related activities around the apple through the works of the museum collections, varieties of apples will be identified by tasting some products. The association of pomology works to make known the relationships between fruit and culinary art as well as all other transformations of fruit (cider, calvados, pommel, pear and apple juice). The final part of the conference will focus on the protection of endangered fruit varieties. The association participates in programs for genomic analysis of Norman varieties. A tasting of apple, cider and apple juice tips will close the morning.
