Camille Bidaud, lecturer, doctor at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Normandie, will present the difficult access of women to architectural studies in the 19th and 20th centuries, especially around the career of Juliette Billard, Rouen and the first French architect to graduate.

Located in the town of Darnétal near Rouen (76), the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Normandie has been installed since 1984 in an old factory of elastic suspenders, the factory Lucien Fromage, witness to the architecture of the late nineteenth century, in the heart of a 2.5-hectare park characteristic of the landscape model. The building, rehabilitated by architect Patrice Mottini, now offers 4000 m2 of useful space dedicated to the teaching of architecture.
