Fabien Desseaux began his musical studies at the Evreux Conservatory where he obtained several distinctions: Diploma of End of Piano Studies in the class of Daniel Isoir in 1998 and Diploma of Regional Musical Studies of organ in the class of Jean Regnery in 2002. Following this, he joined the National Conservatory of Region of Rouen where he won the First Prize for Improvement in the organ class of François Ménissier. Meanwhile, Fabien Desseaux also worked for a year with Susan Landale. In 2001, he obtained a Master 2 of Musicology at the University of Rouen with the mention very well. He has published several articles in the specialized journals L'orgue, Orgues Nouvelles and the periodical of the F.F.A.O. Fabien Desseaux is, since 1997, the titular organist and curator of the historical organs of the two churches of the Andelys in the Eure (Ingout 1674 and Cavaillé-Coll 1892) and president of the Association des Amis des Orgues des Andelys (www.lesorguesdesandelys.org). In 2019, he received the medal from the City of the Andelys. Fabien Desseaux is also an educator. He teaches organ and musical culture at the Andelys School of Music and Dance, as well as piano at the Pôle d'Enseignement Artistique de la Municipalité de Mont-Saint-Aignan (Espace Marc Sangnier). He teaches occasionally at summer academies, notably in 2021 at the Bach Academy in Seine Eure, alongside Helga Schauerte and Alain Brunet. He performs regularly on the organ, alone, or in the company of groups such as the Evreux Véga Choir. His last concerts were in Rouen, Mont-Saint-Aignan, Le Havre, Paris, Antwerp, Rodez, Thonon-les-Bains, etc.
Adèle Boxberger studied law at the University of Paris before devoting himself entirely to music.
In 2014 she obtained a Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied with Ryland Davies, Anne Howells, and Jonathan Papp.
She now works regularly with the Armenian mezzo-soprano Juliette Galstian.
We were able to hear him in JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Requiem and solo viola parts in the cantatas of Bach BWV 8 and BWV 100 conducted by Iain Ledingham at the Royal Academy of Music.
On stage, she sang Métella (La Vie Parisienne, Offenbach), the first Witch (Didon and Enee, Purcell), the Wolf and the Young Sister (The Orpheus Misfortunes of Darius Milhaud), one of the Spirits in Massenet’s Cinderella (Royal Academy Opera, directed by Christopher Cowell, directed by Gareth Hancock).
Adèle Boxberger created the role of Mélusine in Michel Decoust’s opera Camille at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional in Paris in 2012. As part of the "opera scenes" of the Royal Academy of Music she played Cenerentola (directed by William Relton) Dorabella and Mercedes (directed by Daisy Evans), and Hänsel (directed by Bruno Ravella).
We were able to hear it notably in recital at Wigmore Hall, London, in September 2014 as part of the concert series For crying out loud. She was semi-finalist of the Competition of Bel Canto Vincenzo Bellini in October 2014.
And currently we can hear it in recital around Rouen, Paris and London.
