Organ concert
The concert will hear Laurent Mallet, graduate of musical studies in the organ class of Jean Regnery as well as a gold medal of improvisation on the organ in the class of Pierre Pincemaille. He was later taught by Thierry Escaich, Louis-Marie Vigne, Olivier Trachier, Philippe Lefebvre, and Alain Mabit at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris.
He teaches organ, harpsichord and musical training and directs the medieval vocal ensemble "Orderic Vital" within the network of the conservatory and music schools of the intercommunality of Bernay - Terres de Normandie (27). He is also a tenured organist at the Lutheran church of Saint-Marcel in Paris.
The concert will be preceded by a presentation of the church’s altarpiece depicting six scenes from Christ’s childhood. The Gregorian schola of the Vièvre will join Laurent Mallet for some pieces related to the altarpiece.
