Damien Fleau’s concert on the Mont Saint-Michel lookout
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the public establishment of Mont Saint-Michel invites the artist Damien Fleau to perform on the splendid viewpoint of Mont Saint-Michel, the Couesnon dam.
Discover its bewitching universe in an exceptional natural setting.
This complete artist, trained pianist but also saxophonist and composer, is above all passionate about the cinematographic world.
Thanks to its powerful music in complete harmony with the venue of the concert, we are transported in the theme of the sea, the rhythmic movement of the sometimes powerful and indomitable waves. Composed around the piano, his music is supported by synth strings and electronic sounds.
His artistic references range from Mozart, Ravel, Wagner, or Ennio Morricone to Nihls Fram, Steve Reich and Philippe Glass. So Damien Fleau likes to go from a music tinged with electronic sounds and analog synthesizers to a much more orchestral music. He has just finished the soundtrack of the series about the singer Soprano «A la vie à la mort».
He also composes for groups such as KAST, a duo with electro pop and FESTEN, a jazz quartet with strong cinematic references.
In 2023 will release his first solo piano album: «Breaking Waves».
Come and enjoy a new look at Mont Saint-Michel in this magnificent space, sublimated by the music of Damien Fleau.
