The test of bringing to the place of General Leveneur in Carrouges, to the intiative of the Normandy-Maine Regional Natural Park and the like of Carrouges is coming to an end. The closing event of this experiment will take place on Sunday 18 September as part of the 39th European Heritage Days. From 9am to 5pm, many free activities around the heritage of the village of Carrouges will take place in Place Leveneur or at its departure. Visit of the village by a local scholar (at 9 am, by Mme Champin) and the Collège Henri Delivet (2 pm to 5 pm, by Mme Angot), exhibition of old postcards by the Parc naturel régional Normandie-Maine and the town, and orientation races in the town and its paths by the association D'Ecouves Verte will allow to discover the heritage of the village of Carrouges. Finally, the company Div'Art, theatre company established Carrouges, will offer two costumed performances of the tale "Beauty and the Beast" at 11am and 4pm, on Place Leveneur. Refreshment and catering will also be offered by local merchants. What to spend the day in Carrouges also going to the Château de Carrouges where free and free tours of the apartments and exhibition rooms of the castle will be possible.
