Flamanville has the largest collection in Europe, with over 1000 varieties, some old and some more exotic from around the world. The collection includes all forms of dahlias, a great diversity of all sizes and colors. A panorama of horticultural dahlia as you can’t find it anywhere else.

The Castle of Flamanville dates mainly from the seventeenth century, but the existence of a vast seigneurial property is attested from the fourteenth century.
Built in grey granite extracted from the nearby cliff between 1654 and 1658 by Hervé Basan, this owner wishes a residence worthy of his title of marquis recently awarded by Louis XIV.
Château Park The Château de Flamanville is surrounded by a park of about twenty hectares enriched with woods, ponds and a magnificent octagonal tower. Throughout the year, enjoy a park of about twenty hectares offering many varieties of flowers, plants and trees. At the edge of the ponds, the giant Gunnéras from Chile and the Trachycarpus Fortunei palms give a very North-Cotentine exotic touch.
