. The choir of the Saint-Gabriel church is quite remarkable. It is illuminated by the three beautiful stained glass windows of the Charles Mauméjean workshop. The bays illustrate scenes from the Rosary with the joyful, painful and glorious mysteries Between the bays, the painters Anne-Marie and Thérèse Philippeaux drew characters in 1947 reminiscent of the Annunciation. There are, in shades of grey and gold, the parents of John the Baptist, the parents of the Virgin, Mary and the archangel Gabriel. In front of the canopy, the triumphal arch that dominates the choir depicts the prophets Daniel and Isaiah, the four evangelists, and finally, dominating the scene, Christ, depicted as an ancient Zeus between two men who come out of their tombs on the day of the Resurrection. The characters are accompanied by the symbols that characterize them: Daniel and the lion, Isaiah and the young child, the evangelists with their attribute. The top of the arch, quite dark, is sometimes difficult to see.
