The Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne is the ideal place to discover the living and working environment of one of the architects of today’s Europe. The permanent interactive exhibition presents the character of Jean Monnet and allows the visitor to discover his work in the very place where they were born.
Imprinted with European history, the Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne has been the scene of decades of relentless efforts by statesmen. The museum’s multimedia activities show how Jean Monnet has shaped the Europe of today and how European institutions influence the lives of citizens.
Located 45 km west of Paris, this house was the ideal place, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the French capital, where Jean Monnet was able to develop his vision of European peace and unity.
The entrance is free and the tour takes about 60 minutes.
