The Municipal Museum Documentation Centre is a unique place dedicated to research. Dedicated to the study of the history of the figurative arts of the period between the two wars and to the work of sculptors Paul Landowski and Paul Belmondo, it makes available to the public, a set of nearly 20,000 files of works, 1,000 boxes of general documentation containing nearly 60,000 documentary files. A library of 5,000 books and periodicals, as well as archival collections on the artists Paul Belmondo, Paul Landowski, Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann, Charles, Pierre and Mathilde Lenoir, Marguerite Huré and Marcelle Lecamps, Elisabeth Branly, Marcel Renard, Gilbert Privat, Jules Leleu, Irene Codréano etc.
The documentation centre is open by appointment to research students, institutional organizations, galleries, auction houses and individuals.
