Inhabitants visit their living place, a singular Historical Monument, Former Ursuline Convent of Saint-Denis and co-ownership of seventy dwellings. You will walk from one courtyard to another, in a restored staircase and in time, from the seventeenth century to the present day. You will be welcomed as neighbours, simply and with pleasure, to discover this island of peaceful greenery.

Visit of the former convent of the Ursulines. Acquired by Ursuline sisters in 1628, completed in 1640, this convent housed the future King Louis XIV in 1652 during the Fronde. The mother of King Anne of Austria to thank the Ursulines exonerated them of taxes for a while. The convent, which became national property in 1789, will continue to operate under the direction of a superior mother until the sale of the property in 1840 to a Parisian developer who will transform the convent into apartments (70 currently) and bring down the church and part of the cloister.
