Maison de Fer
12 rue Pierreuse 78720 Dampierre-en-Yvelines
The work of the engineer Duclos, the house of Dampierre probably came out of the factory between 1894 and 1896\. The Iron House was bought by Mr. Puig, a commercial employee, who established it in 1896 on his land in Dampierre-en-Yvelines.In the 1950s, the building was abandoned. From 1963, it was lent by the Puig heirs to the municipality of Dampierre and then to an association of hikers. Concerned by the poor condition of this construction the PNR of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse buys the House of Iron in 1986, the dismantles entirely, restores it and arranges it as a lodging of stage.
