Georges Méliès is one of the first great geniuses of cinema. Martin Scorsese paid him a moving tribute with his film "Hugo Cabret", and the image of the shell penetrating the eye of the Moon is now engraved in the collective memory. Through a unique collection of machines, costumes, drawings, models and photos, embark on the fantasy world of this magician of the 7th art and explore, in his company, the history of the cinema of his invention to the present day For the heritage days, find our speakers in the museum. They will explain everything you need to know about the birth of cinema (between 2pm and 6pm).
