The former town hall of Courbevoie, built between 1855 and 1858 by the architect Paul-Eugène Lequeux, a pupil of Baltard and Guénepin, is included in the inventory of historical monuments. This classical-style building contains the remains of the 1889 Universal Exhibition in the wedding hall: eight paintings by Alexis Séon, a pupil of Puvis-de-Chachenes. The first floor is decorated with four paintings by René Billotte, nephew of the painter and writer Eugène Fromentin.
