It is in this former farm of the eighteenth century, the Clos des Metz, that Léon Blum, leader of the Popular Front, settles down on his return from Buchenwald with Jeanne (called Janot) who had joined him in captivity. After a few years of happy retirement with his wife, he died in this house on March 30, 1950 at the age of 78\. This property became communal after the death of Jeanne in 1982, was the place of meetings of many politicians and intellectuals. Through the permanent exhibition, you will discover all the facets of Leon Blum: the man of letters and the statesman who presided over the government of the Popular Front (from June 1936 to June 1937).
