The MAC VAL is the first museum to be exclusively devoted to contemporary art in France. The artistic policy of the museum is precisely defined: contemporary art in France, and is exercised in a perspective of influence in order to propose the discovery of the art of our time to all audiences. The meeting is at the heart of the MAC VAL project: a unique collection that shows a strong commitment to the inhabitants and that contributes to the identity of the territory. Certainly the identity of MAC VAL rests above all on a humanist vision of culture.
