Hydraulic system of the seventeenth century supplying water to the park and the castle of Villeroy and its outbuildings. The hydraulic system built in the manner of the Romans, during the sixteenth, fifteenth and fifteenth centuries, extended in the fifteenth century, concerns the city of Mennecy. It has nothing to do with the «Belgrand» aqueducts of La Vanne, Le Loing, Le Lunain and La Voulzie, which have supplied drinking water to the city of Paris since 1872.
