Fondation Charles de Gaulle
Headquarters of the Rassemblement du Peuple Français (RPF), General de Gaulle occupied an office there (remained unchanged) from 1947 to 1958. Many personalities, including André Malraux, Michel Debré, Georges Pompidou and Geneviève de Gaulle-Anthonioz also frequented this place. The building, archetypal of the mansions of the Faubourg Saint-Germain of the late 19th century, its interior decorations, the office of General de Gaulle and its furniture are classified as historical monuments. An exhibition "Charles de Gaulle, 1890-1970", the presentation of archives and activities for children are also offered.
