For the 5th consecutive year, the Elysée 1 & 2 residences will participate in the event by organising guided tours of the 2 residences. This year’s theme will be sustainable heritage. This theme is part of the action of the town hall on the year of the tree and on the inventory of trees .
The 2 residences were built on a wooded site where ancient trees were preserved in the courtyards between the buildings, in a spirit of harmony between nature and architecture, a theme dear to Le Corbusier and a whole generation of architects after him. The inventory of these 2 plant heritages has been put online with the help of the company Silvavenir, which carries out each year the health examination of the trees of the 2 residences. The visits will be an opportunity to present this inventory and they will focus on some remarkable trees in the courtyards of both residences.
