Maison Poursin is the oldest Parisian manufacture still in operation, specializing in creations of brass buckles and copper. Its prestigious know-how that has passed through the centuries is known throughout the world and many designers of yesterday and today have crossed the threshold of the shop and workshops located rue des Vinaigriers in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The history of this family business began in 1830, it was long specialized in saddlery and harness. Equipping the Napoleonic gibernes as well as the carriages and winning numerous awards at the universal exhibitions of 1880 and 1914\. In the 1910s, «the steam horse» supplanting the animal, Maison Poursin extended its exceptional know-how to the very high-end leather goods.
