Built in the twelfth century on the site of a Merovingian chapel, dedicated to the bishop of Toulouse St Sernin or Saturnin, it has a Romanesque bell tower from the early thirteenth century. Building 25 meters long, decorated with capitals of the twelfth century. Its high parts are redone in the fifteenth century. Several campaigns of work were carried out between the twelfth and the twentieth century: enlargement, installation of a flamboyant Gothic portal coming from a Parisian convent. The mosaic of the facade dates from 1928 and the Virgin and Child of the portal is due to the sculptor Boutron in the twentieth century. The stained-glass windows, dating from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, are gifts from individuals wishing to honour their patron saints. The bust of Antoine Watteau, who died in Nogent, is by the sculptor L. Auvray. It is installed in the courtyard of the church thanks to the support of Princess Mathilde.
