The Alsatian School is a private secular institution under contract of association with the State. Founded in 1874 by families from Strasbourg who had fled to Paris to escape the war, it was one of the laboratories from which the secular and republican school emerged. Many of the experiences set up at the School have become the daily life of all institutions in France, whether public or private.
