The city council-museum of Bourron-Marlotte is decorated by a resident Parisian artist in the municipality between 1906 and about 1922, Charles Moreau-Vauthier. Pupil of Gérôme, he(it) abandoned(gave up) the painting(paint) of Lounges(Shows) rather fast but stayed a matchless organizer(presenter). Mobilising his friends of Paris and of the region of Fontainebleau, he manages to gather(collect) about 70 works to open in 1907 the "Small Museum" of the City council. Gifts(Donations) continued regularly to feed this small museum which gathers(combines) today more than 400 diverse works which someone are listed(classified).
