In July 1870, a chapel, an annex of the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul de Colombes church, was built in the Bois de Colombes district. More than a year after the city’s independence in 1897, the chapel became a parish church. The façade and the bell tower, most of the stained glass windows and the organ are the historical witnesses of the first church enlarged and renovated between 1925 and 1928. After an interior renovation of the building in 2012, the organ, a neo-classical instrument built by the factor Ernest Béasse in 1904, will be restored and enriched musically from the end of 2022.
A discovery of the oldest public building of Bois-Colombes and its organ is proposed during the European Heritage Days.
