It is in Paris in the 14th arrondissement that this oil on canvas by Guillaume Bottazzi is presented, which is opposite the park Montsouris. This shimmering painting with sensual curves was made in 2016. It is an invitation to the joy of living.
The painter confronts us with a contradiction since the effects of lights do not respect the fundamental rules of painting. Indeed, each element seems to receive shadows in a random way and this induces the observer to create spaces that escape the field of the frame of the table.
Exceptional opening to the public as part of the European Heritage Days.
