The tomb of Charles Le Sueur and his wife, Geneviève de Bragelongne, was rediscovered on the occasion of recent works in the church of Saint-Merry and allows us to recall a large family of Parisian notables in the 16th century. Blazons, inscriptions and engraved ornaments are all elements to be deciphered to highlight this page of Renaissance Paris history.
This major archaeological discovery will be presented by a student in art history.
Free visit on registration. Meet in front of the chapel Saint-Antoine, the first right in front of the choir.
