Monuments of technical and architectural innovation at the confluence of the Essonne and the Seine, they constitute a major element of the industrial heritage of Paris. A new mill will soon come into operation, next to the elevating tower built in 1893 by Paul-Emile Friesé and protected under the title of Historic Monuments. The old mill, whose buildings date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, will be undergoing a change in the near future.
