Visits from 10h and 15h30: Route of the ancient frescoes
The history of students' political and social commitments is exemplified on campus. It is part of our daily lives without our paying attention to it. Little documented, partially erased, abused by time… How can we uncover the secrets of these forgotten vestiges when information is lacking? If you want to learn more about the researcher’s approach to art history, come and help us solve the mysteries of Nanterre’s frescoes.
14h Tour: 2018 Street Art Trail
Through the analysis of the seven frescoes made in 2018 on the occasion of the Night of Ideas, the guided tour of Paris Nanterre University offers you to discover famous classical works of the Louvre Museum reinterpreted by urban artists. Along the way, you will learn more about the so-called «Street Art» practice and its role during the student demonstrations in May 68.
