MABA

The park of the Artists Foundation will be exceptionally open on the occasion of the European Heritage Days. The Artists' Foundation gathers around its park of an area of 10 hectares an atypical ensemble consisting of the National House of Artists (retirement home for elderly artists), the MABA (art center), about thirty artists' workshops and a heritage library, the Smith-Lesouëf Library. The current park is the result of a long history, from the cultivation of the vine, through a garden "à la française" arranged in terraces and decorated with ponds, to the garden "à l'anglaise" of the nineteenth century, transformed at the beginning of the next century.
