Completed in 1871, the church of Saint-Lubin is a work of youth of the architect Anatole de Baudot, the most illustrious of the students of Viollet-le-Duc. Financed in part by Napoleon III, and delivered while the Second Empire has just been replaced by the Third Republic, the church is enriched with works from the old church or commissioned for the occasion.
