1 Visit of the prestigious premises: Room of the sessions, staircase of honor, Bibiothèque;
2 Access to the rich library: Discovery of some of its most "amazing" historical works;
3 Dialogue with Academicians, present on the spot, on topical subjects: The opportunity to ask questions about agriculture, food and the impact of these on our environment;
4 Educational animation around the silk worm: A breeding that was important in France and that owes much to Louis Pasteur (which many of us do not know).

The Académie d'Agriculture de France, founded in 1761 by Louis XV, came from the Société d'Agriculture de la Généralité de Paris then from the Société Royale d'Agriculture.
Composed of some of the most eminent personalities in the field of agronomy (Buffon, Lavoisier, Malesherbes, les Vilmorin, G. Washington , T. Jefferson, Pasteur, A. Young ), the AAF is currently composed of 120 full members and 180 corresponding members, 60 members and 60 foreign correspondents.
Since its creation, its documentary collection has been made up of rare books that reflect the tryptic of its activities: "Agriculture, Food, Environment" and since its foundation.
