Anis Gras - the place of the Other is a protected site for historical monuments. This weekend, the doors of the place are open to curious and curious who wish to discover its history and secrets.
Between the story of the building - an old factory that has become an artistic factory - and the discovery of the great families that brought it to life (Raspail, Bols, the Gras family...), the painter Laurent Melon will present his Scoopitones, powerful audiovisual objects that have all been created in the walls of the place.
These 17 and 18 September will have a taste of something new: the venue hosts the ZCLAM festival, led by SHARE (European project supporting free and improvised music). During your visit of the place, musicians will invite you to discover the artistic practice that animates them and thus make the place vibrate in a special way.

Located in a former 19th century distillery, Anis Gras - the place of the Other is a multidisciplinary creative space. Many mechanisms have been put in place to welcome and share these artistic experiences: residencies (recognized or emerging artists), open stage (professionals or amateurs), reception-territory (local artistic and/or cultural projects), workshops (writing/reading, making/editing images, building objects and scenic machinery), artistic cafés (café concert, café des enfants) and an interdisciplinary research activity that questions current events from sensitive approaches and practices (meetings, debates, screenings). Substantive dialogues and sharing of ways of doing things, the construction of echoes between the various practices welcomed, and with their users (inhabitants, associations, school environment, various professionals, public, etc.), make above all of Anis Gras - the place of the Other a place of life.
