On 17 and 18 September, UNESCO is hosting the 50th anniversary of World Heritage Days.
From 10am to 6pm, two days of opening of the Headquarters of the Organization will allow the public to:
- discover the carte blanche given to Sacha Jafri, a rising artist of contemporary art, in Paris with 32 exceptional works, between Dubai, Everest and London..
- Have access to new contemporary art masterpieces from its collection accessible in augmented reality or real presented to everyone by students from the Ecole du Louvre and our team
- discuss with 4 UNESCO experts on major heritage issues: Natural heritage in danger, sustainable tourism, safeguarding in war zones or after natural disasters..
- to take a look at major World Heritage sites, treasures of humanity, with the documentary series «The Wonders of UNESCO» produced with Nat Geo/Disney and the exhibition of 50 years The Next 50th designed in collaboration with Nat Geo and Yan Bighetti of Flogny.
