Once upon a time Martin Luther King Park
Walking tour in the new Martin Luther King Park, animated by an actor, 75 minutes. This walk is designed in four parts, the local history, the creation of the garden, the creation of the district (eco-district and social mix), the judicial city and the future City of Theatre. This walk is told through characters present in this area since the creation of the railway. A farmer comes to talk to them about the quail hunt of Louis XIV which passes through the fields with horsemen and causes the loss. Lucien, a horse-drawn carriage driver for the Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Ouest, tells of the arrival of Norman fish and milk and their distribution in Paris. His great-grandson, great-great-grandson, tells the story of his arrival two years ago in this district, which is an eco-neighborhood: he explains how to act as an “eco-citizen” with the 5 Rs: refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and give back. We quote some poets (Zola, Verlaine, Brel).
