Living History in the Historical Service of Defence
With the theme 2022: «Vincennes, town of garrison and artillery», about fifteen groups of living history will evoke the Napoleonic period until the Liberation of 1944, including the Franco-Prussian War, the Great War and the Battle of France 1940. Gunners, hunters, dragons on horseback, foot soldiers or doctors and nurses will be represented on the various bivouacs. Faithful to its history, and as «at the time» of the famous Vincennes polygon, many period materials will be presented to the public, such as a balloon basket, a howitzer of the artillery of the Imperial Guard, Jeep, a GMC, an ambulance Berliet 1912, different cannons like the famous "75" or a 25 anti-tank and a Saint-Chamond tank of the Great War.
