The associations of the Friends of Bourron-Marlotte and the Friends of the Museum of Bourron-Marlotte organize in partnership with the municipality of Bourron-Marlotte and with the support of the department of Seine-and-Marne an exhibition to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of the novelist and poet Henry Murger (1822-1861): Henry Murger and the bohemian of Paris at the forest of Fontainebleau. This exhibition retraces the life of Henry Murger with many visuals, paintings and photographs, which invite to a walk in the years 1850-1860 with the artists and literators who surrounded the author of the Scenes of Bohemian life that inspired Puccini’s opera. Exhibition open from September 3 to October 9, 2022 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 6pm - Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Free admission.
