Exhibition Alicja Gąsiorowska, Paintings and drawings. The Four Seasons in Minervois.

Bibliothèque Polonaise de Paris

Alicja Gąsiorowska, brings to life on her paintings and drawings the emotions that her master’s eye in painting had awakened during many trips to the regions of Minervois, country of natural landscapes of Languedoc, French Polynesia, Martinique, Morocco, of Tunisia. Fascinated by light and colors, she expresses in a prodigious way and with a resolute gesture of brush always dominant in her work, the mystery concealed in the beauty of a sudden, bewitched movement, in the warmth of the summer breath or in the violence of nature, evoking with astonishing virtuosity the sensation of seeing the atmosphere vibrate. Charmed by the beauty of the Minervois landscapes, she shows through her paintings the climate formed by the play of colors and light that fascinated her. During her hikes, she creates her watercolours and drawings, even large outdoor formats, perpetuating their magic ready to fly away at any time.
