Episy, another village of painters On the banks of the Loing canal, Episy, now integrated in Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, has not passed into posterity as a village of artists. Yet its landscapes have attracted dozens of painters since the end of the 19th century, often from neighbouring villages (Montigny, Marlotte), but sometimes also from far away, from Canada, and even from New Zealand.
