In 2020 in Clichy-la-Garenne (92), several levels of occupation dating from the Palaeolithic period were discovered. They bear witness to scenes from the daily life of Neanderthals. Located one kilometre from the current banks of the Seine, the site study offers unprecedented results and confirms the tremendous potential of this geographical area, known since the 19th century.
