Pange Lingua Choir Concert
The Pange Lingua Choir takes its name from the Gregorian hymn of Holy Thursday because it was on this occasion that the choir hosted its first mass in the Church of Saint Ignatius. Initially made up of students from the Sciences Po chaplaincy, it is gradually expanding, as is its repertoire, which includes songs well known to Saint-Ignace regulars such as those of Jacques Berthier, Taizé, or Gouzes, while being concerned to highlight a thousand years of sacred music with Gregorian, works by Palestrina, Bach, Handel, Fauré, Poulenc or contemporary compositions by Ola Gjeilo, Paul Mealor and others.
