The town of Thomery, located south-east of Fontainebleau, between Seine and forest covers an area of 371 hectares. Today, the city is composed of three main districts: the city center (formerly called The Village), the district of the port (formerly called Collapsed) and the district of By, on the hillside (former Hamlet of By).
