Through this demonstration, you will discover the different techniques of fire ignition attested for prehistory.
– Saturday, September 17, 2022: from 1 pm to 7 pm
– Sunday, September 18, 2022: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., then 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The excavations carried out on this site attest to the human presence since Prehistory. CNRS or affiliated researchers carry out important research on the living conditions of men at the age of reindeer. There are notably reindeer woods, ornamental elements, clusters of flint, fireplaces of the Magdalenian era; but also traces of occupation from Neolithic to Gallo-Roman.
