Screening of an 8mn short film about Pincevent’s house No. 1, the first Magdalenian housing unit discovered in 1964, thanks to gravel pits. A ground gathering 3 fireplaces was subsequently stripped and molded on nearly 70 m2.

The excavations carried out on this site attest to the human presence since Prehistory. CNRS or affiliated researchers carry out important research on the living conditions of men at the age of reindeer. There are notably reindeer woods, ornamental elements, clusters of flint, fireplaces of the Magdalenian era; but also traces of occupation from Neolithic to Gallo-Roman.
