Guided tours and entertainment for young people
On the occasion of Heritage Days 2022, the museum opens its doors for free to visitors on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September.
On the program, three guided tours: The swimming pool of Albert Baert celebrates its 90 years, The Masonic symbols present in the architecture of the museum, A history of Roubaix; animations specially designed for the young audience (from 4 years) combining collections discovery and plastic creation.
FAMILY EVENTS:
• Rehabilitation of the building: Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm to 5:30pm. From the old pool to the current museum.
• Greenery revealed: Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5:30pm. A herbarium made up of foliage from our tinctorial garden and our collection with surprising tannin. Hurry to pick!
Animation for young people from 4 years. No reservation. Within the limit of places available.
ADULT GUIDED TOURS:
• Albert Baert’s pool celebrates its 90th anniversary: Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm, 3:15pm and 4pm
• Masonic symbols present in the museum’s architecture: Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 and 15:15
• A history of Roubaix: Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm and 3:45pm
Without reservation, registration at the reception of the museum 30 minutes before the departure of the visit, within the limit of places available.
