The banker Gédéon de Forceville was also a self-taught sculptor. Combining financial means and aesthetics, he wanted to build a superb neo-Renaissance style mansion in the heart of Amiens. Its architecture was entrusted to the young Jean Herbault, who later built the Amiens Courthouse. Come and discover this bourgeois residence and its gardens, which now belong to the Department of the Somme.
