From miners working the rock with their picks to researchers and digital professionals working the image and the sound, come discover the site from the roof of the LEAUD for a panoramic view on the pit tile, visit the room of hangings (lockers and showers), the lamp room (now the exhibition), the compressor room and the test room where shootings are held throughout the year to learn more about what is being done today and tomorrow in Wallers-Arenberg, a site in perpetual evolution! You will not be able to go down to the bottom but a visit outside will allow you to visualize the size of the site!

Arenberg Creative Mine is an innovative site inaugurated on September 25, 2015 by director Costa Gavras and his wife, producer Michèle Ray-Gavras. This former mining site, emblem of the World Heritage Mining Basin of Unesco since 2012, has been the subject of a major reconversion carried out by La Porte du Hainaut, to become a pole of excellence in image and digital media. More than 21 million were invested, including 4.5 million in audiovisual equipment.
Thanks to its very complete equipment, filmmakers can now make a film in its entirety; companies and specialized agencies can also organize their professional and public events there. In 2018, the site continues to evolve: hosting companies, valuing the heritage journey, etc.
