At the foot of the ramparts of the medieval castle, the gardens in espalier are staggered on 5 levels. The walls and stairs were erected between the XII and the XIV century. They were the property of the family of sculptor Achille Jacopin, who had set up his studio there. Each level has a water reserve, all connected by a network of pipes.
